Lacy Baby, Laid to Rest


Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. Lacy at 305 North Eight Street for their 11 months old daughter, Norma Jean Lacy, who died at the home Thursday morning of pneumonia.

Rev. W.E. Simmons, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiated and Mrs. Simmons sang "Precious Jewels" and "Sweet Bye and Bye."

The body was taken to the Two Buttes cemetery for interment in charge of the Church and Sharp Funeral Home of Lamar.

The little girl is survived by her parents; two brothers, George and Kenneth; three sisters, Rosella, Margaret and Mary; and grandparents, C.D. Lacy of Two Buttes and Mrs. Smith of Oklahoma.
