Arza Lacy
Services for Arza S. Lacy, 87, of 116 Fowler, retired watchman, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at WIlton Mortuary.
The Rev. Dan Demmin will officiate, and burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
Friends may call at the mortuary 3 to 5 p.m. tomorrow.
Mr. Lacy, who had lived at the Fowler address 21 years, died at 12:15 a.m. yesterday at Methodist Hospital, where he was admitted Tuesday.
A resident of Peoria 28 years, he was born in Ohio Oct. 18, 1883, a son of Christian and Clara Stone Lacy. He was married to Myrtle Smith in Baca County, Colo., Jan. 16, 1918.
Mr. Lacy was a watchman for Peoria Packing Co. nine years, retiring in 1952. He was a member of teh Baptist Church in Stultz, Mo.
Surviving are his widow; three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Rozella) Foster of Washburn, Mrs. Thomas (Mary) Hanson of Inkom, Idaho, and Mrs. Lowell (Verna) Jett of Darlen; two sons, Kenneth of Peoria and George of Benid; 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three brothers, Leslie of Lamar, Colo. Frank and George Lacy, both of Springfield, Colo., and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Brummett of Hays, Kan., and Mrs. Etheyl Collins of Colorado Springs, Colo.
